Our Fun Run will be TUESDAY, October 31st

Our Fun Run is our big fundraiser of the year. It's a great way to promote a healthy lifestyle for our students and community, while at the same time raising money for our school. This year our goal is to raise $15,000. This year we are raising money to bring an amazing program called Dinosaur George to Story! We are also raising money to purchase a Triple Ball Shooter for recess, PebbleGo for the Library, and other items for PE. This money is also used throughout the year to fund our school programs. Last year we hosted Patrol Stories, Yuck Science, did a Movie Night, a Dance, and STEAM night! Stay tuned for this year's programs. Your participation is vital to our success!

Just follow these simple steps:

1. Register your child online by clicking HERE. Registration is free, easy and fast. Plus your child will receive a free prize just for registering.

2. Email and/or text 10-15 friends and family with your student's fundraising webpage.

3. Post on Facebook or Twitter! It's two clicks of a button to post. You'll be surprised when donations come in from distant/friends and co-workers! Plus, this year we are working together to see if we can get a donation from every state, so share with your out-of-state friends and family!

All donations are DUE by November 3, 2023 at 11:59pm. There are 2 ways to donate:

(1) You can pay with credit or debit card directly on your student's fundraising webpage after they are registered. (There is a $10 minimum for online donations.)

(2) You can pay with cash or check by sending your payment to school with this Donation Form in an envelope marked "Story PTA". All money received at school will be added to your student's online total.

What are Shout-Outs?

For $5, you can purchase a Shout-Out which will be read aloud during the Fun Run to encourage your student. Shout-Out forms can be downloaded HERE.

List of Fun Run Individual Incentive Prizes:

1. Register online = Wacky Track

2. First $1+ donation = Glow in the Dark Halloween Mochi

3. Raise $50 = "Movie Lunch" in classroom with a treat from PTA

4. Raise $150 = Dodgeball Party with the PE Teachers

5. Top Earner in each class = Teacher for the Day

6. Top Earner in the school = Specials Teacher for the Day

7. Drawing for $5 Sonic gift card each time the school raises $1000 (each $10 student donation = 1 entry for drawing)

List of Fun Run School Incentive Prizes:

1. When we reach 50% student registration = Pajama Day at school

2. Class with the highest % registration = Extra Recess

3. When we get donations from 25 states = Listen to music at lunch

4. Top 3 classrooms who raise the most = teacher receives a $25 gift card for classroom needs
